NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Please take notice that the City of Dahlonega Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. REGARDING CERTAIN MATTERS ITEMIZED IN THIS NOTICE. The RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION REGARDING THESE MATTERS will then be forwarded to the City of Dahlonega Board of Zoning Appeals WHO will then hold A Public Hearing on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. THE citations referenced below PERTAIN TO ORDINANCE 91-9 AS IT APPEARS IN AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DAHLONEGA:

  1. Public Hearing for William R. Shirley – A request for a variance to parcel D10-086 at 43 Goldenrod Lane. This parcel consists of approximately +/- 0.27 total acres and is zoned R-3 (Multiple Family Residential) District. The request is to reduce the front side setback along Wimpy Mill Road from 35 feet to 10 feet.
  2. Public Hearing for Jordan Moss – A request for a variance to parcel D06-033 at 196 North Park Street. This parcel consists of approximately +/- 0.262 total acres and is zoned R-1 (Single-family Residential) District. The request is to reduce the front setback along North Park Street from 35 feet to 10 feet.

THE meeting will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 465 Riley Road.  APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED ARE available for review at the Community Development Office.
